Allan, another one of the Viva Ambassadors, took a time out from work this morning to have a quick coffee with me at Gumption.
Today was probably the first time in about two weeks I have had time to step out of the office for a coffee. All those little fires at work were burning at a toasty moderate – so we could leave them alone for a few minutes.
Sometimes I wonder if everyone’s jobs are simply variants of patching up things (whatever they are) over and over until those things are remade from scratch. Of course, after the remaking, the process of patching begins afresh.
As I said to a few people last week, “Life is a basket of juggling balls, and I am the one handed clown.”
Thankfully, this morning, that hand was holding a fine tasting coffee.
