VIVA’s favourite events for the week!

Another week has rolled around!  Only 215 days to Christmas!

Only kidding – the days count is right, but we aren’t planning for Christmas just yet… or are we?  (You don’t know!  You just couldn’t possibly know!)

Thursday 25 May 2017 – Sydney Fair Opening Night

After the Fashion Week festivities in Sydney last week, your wallet might feel a little thinner than before.  If you want to reduce the profile of your wallet to prevent stretching out the pockets of your new fashion-forward pants, then you might want to spend some money at the 5th annual Sydney Fair, where more than 60 antique and art dealers will be attending the fair to exhibit their wares.

When: Thursday 25 May to Sunday 28 May 2017

Where: The Royal Hall of Industries, 1 Driver Avenue, Moore Park

Ticket are now on sale from the Sydney Fair website.

Sunday 28 May 2017 –  Manly Market Place

We wanted to tell you about the Fair Farmers Market in Randwick, but it is unfortunately closed (for now).

You can still pick up amazing locally-grown fruits and vegetables at one of the many local farmers markets that spring into existence every weekend across Sydney, like the Manly Market Place.  While you’re in Manly, take this chance to see the beach for the last time before going into hibernation.

When: Every Saturday and Sunday, from 10am to 5pm

Where: Market Place and Sydney Road, Manly

Read more about them at What’s on Sydney.
